In 2011, I relocated to Ireland for an English for Business course, settling in the countryside. My interactions were primarily with native English speakers, and I engaged deeply in studying various teaching methodologies. During my time in Ireland, I completed the distinguished CELTA course offered by the University of Cambridge, which featured a month of class observation overseen by Cambridge instructors. Subsequently, I embarked on a teaching career in Dublin at a multinational American school, focusing on students from Europe and Asia. My efforts led to a promotion to the position of academic manager, where I led a team of 17 teachers. In addition to my CELTA qualification, I hold a bachelor's degree in Portuguese-English translation and interpretation, along with a postgraduate degree in the neuroscience of learning. My language proficiency encompasses Portuguese, English, and Italian, with an intermediate level in French. I also have experience as an interpreter, having worked in Italy for a year. In 2018, I established the Savella Language Centre, targeting speakers of Latin languages, with a particular focus on Portuguese speakers. The centre embodies my dedication to education and my expertise in devising effective learning solutions. Currently, the centre is supported by a dedicated team of teachers and professionals committed to our educational goals. My career reflects an ongoing dedication to enhancing educational quality and developing language skills within a multicultural context.
